DENTAL AESTHETICS
Aesthetic dentistry is not just about health, but also about making the teeth look attractive, the beauty of a smile and self-confidence. To achieve this goal a set a measures is applied depending on individual indications and requirements. An outstanding result is achieved only if the teeth and gums are healthy or cured, otherwise even the most beautiful restoration and/or most expensive crown will not stay beautiful for a long period of time.
A set of measures may include:
– Orthodontic treatment – teeth alignment and bite correction with the use of braces or aligners;
– Dental surgery or implantology issues – in case if patient has one or more teeth missing, as well as microsurgery and plastic surgery of the gum mucosa;
– Therapeutic procedures – treatment of dental canals (endodontics) and/or caries.
Besides, before solving dental aesthetics issues, a professional hygiene session is highly recommended, whitening (if patients insist on or desire professional whitening session), as well as periodontology of oral mucosa – treatment of gingival pockets and gum diseases.
Aesthetic restoration could be classified as direct and indirect. Direct restorations – performed directly in the oral cavity, with the use of modern composites, light cure based polymer composite materials, with high quality reflection of the optical and physical properties of a natural tooth, as well as wear resistance (it is a key factor for creating beautiful, natural and highly aesthetic long-term restorations).
Indirect restorations – made outside patients oral cavity – these are veneers, lumineers, crowns, bridges. A special place in our clinic is allocated to artistic ceramic restorations made with the application of CEREC technology, which allows anatomically perfect and reliable restorations.
